VIII) University Athletics
University Athletics will be responsible for offering courses and events in the area of athletic fitness and training. In particular it will be available to all members of the campus community, students, faculty and co-workers; any overcapacity can be made available to persons outside the university in exchange for fees. At the same time, in the framework of the integrated educational system based on European standards, it will cooperate with affiliated educational institutions.
Corresponding to the demands made upon it, programming of University Athletics will be based primarily in the area of team sports in the widest sense of the term (including chess etc.) as well as general fitness.
In terms of organization University Athletics will be responsible to the Executive Board of the Nihal European University in Sudan, but in the longer term it could be under the auspices of an Arts Faculty to be established at a later point in time.
