The Nihal European University in Sudan

The centres are as a rule interdisciplinary associations of professors, lecturers and support personnel who have special duties in research and / or teaching. But centres are also the academic institutional sites of certain technical facilities. At the same time the individual centres have the possibility of offering academic services to non-university parties in exchange for fees.

As a rule the individual centres for research and teaching should be authorized and established on the basis of applications made at the Nihal European University in Sudan. These applications ought to be made by the participating professors or by the participating departments. As a rule a centre can be approved for three to five years. In the case of a proven usefulness these centres can as a rule receive a time extension or be transformed into standing institutes of the university on the basis of application by the participating professors or departments or by the relevant prorector.
