II) Project Sketch: Radio Nihal
a) Preface
This project sketch brings together preliminary thoughts and planning methods for a campus radio station in the Khartoum region.
Media practice implies unprejudiced, impartial and creative interaction with multiple media presentation forms. Among them is the possibility of acquiring in the course of one’s studies practical experience with the medium of radio.
The Radio Nihal Project should deliver news reporting that covers the areas of science, culture, music, education and society. It should serve the exchange of information and knowledge as an interface between Europe and Africa. In principle it should be accessible to everyone. The participation will not be limited to students; the active participation of listeners is desired as well.
The schedules are planned as multilingual cultural, music and information programmes.
